| The Super 3
BPC uses Twin front and rear firing 4.5" Proprietary Omega HempCone
full-range drivers that made for Omega Speaker Systems.
These drivers incorporate a very light cone and very strong
motor to produce high sensitivity, speed, transparency,
and excellent detail with amazing low level resolution.
The Super 3 BPC is also a perfect point-source and is phase
correct. Imaging and soundstage are not effected.
By incorporating twin drivers front and rear firing the
Super 3 BPC is able to reproduce more complex music with
more dynamics and low end response than the
Super 3
while producing a huge, deep and wide sound-stage.
The music signal is shared by the twin drivers which increases
sensitivity and lowers distortion. The Super 3 BPC has dual
sets of binding posts which are connected to the drivers
individually which allows the Super 3 BPC to be run in either
4 or 16 ohm impedance. Jumpers and diagram are provided
for easy switching between 4 on 16 ohm, Bipole and Dipole
as well as Monopole (front driver only) or Bi-amp.
The Super 3 BPC is a relatively compact bass reflex speaker
so positioning in your listening room is easy. Due to the
rear firing driver a minimum of 4 feet from the back wall
is recommended. We chose to manufacture bass reflex systems
as oppose to bass horns because the bass reflex system has
tighter more accurate bass that goes just as low or lower
than bass horns. Cabinets are more compact and easier to
place as well as lower in cost to manufacture. Bass reflex
cabinets have no horn passage directly behind the driver
so damping material can be placed to suppress standing waves
and bounce back reflections that cause frequency cancellation
and distortion.
